Well, I know that LOGGER by K4CY will do it with most radios, ICOMS,
Kenwoods, Ten Tec
ect.

I think it is a matter of the RTS/DTR lines being used by the keying
device, and other
lines for radio control. Works fine with my OMNI VI+
