Les,

I too have always been confused about this.? I don't know how WL knows how to
calculate GMT from local time? There must be a parameter somewhere in WL
(writelog.ini?) that causes WL to calculate the proper time shift between
local and GMT.

I keep my PC set on GMT Casablanca because in the past when I set my PC on
local time (EST), WL recorded a time shift in the log.? With my PC clock set
on GMT Casablanca, I get the proper time recorded in the log.

The reason for using GMT Casablanca, Monrovia is that this version of GMT
does not shift an hour in the Spring and Fall for daylight savings time.

If you find out how WL knows how to make the proper calculation, pse let me
know.
