[WriteLog] beam headings for rotor

Can anyone please tell me where to set the information so the beam headings 
come out correctly?  I went into the Great Circle map and set my lat and long.  
But beam headings keeps telling me Japan is 123 degrees from WA.  I don't think 
so.  Also is there an easier way to turn the rotor without clicking on tools 
and the clicking on azimuth to dx or whatever it is?

Can't find the info in the help file.
