Hi Jim --
There are many times when I am not ready to log the QSO at the time the
exchange or TU message is sent. I might still be
correcting data, for example. So I definitely do NOT want these memories to
complete the logging of the QSO.
That said, you can achieve exactly what you want by using the Setup/Enter
Sends Exchange/QRZ menu option. When you have
completed the data entry for the QSO, just hit Enter to cause the "TU QRZ"
message to be sent AND to log the QSO.

Gee, if WL could be made mode aware then the same keystroke which sends
your exchange (S&P) or TU QRZ? (Run) could also log the Q. I've lost
lots of Qs by forgetting to hit ENTER after the Q is done. Doesn't seem
to be any way around the problem if program doesn't know what mode
you're in. With a mode aware program this operator error doesn't happen
and you save a keystroke on every Q. Let's see, 1800 Qs means you would
save 1800 thumps of the ENTER key.
How about a key to toggle between S&P and Run modes?
Sure would be nice if this could be done.
