This was my first serious contest activity. Learned a lot about propagation
and
timing of band changes, how to eat while operating and develop a flow during
a
run. Had my frequency taken once during the contest by a major
contester(surprised me) and stumbled upon two stations QRM'ing each other on
the
same frequency (would have been easier if one had just moved off). Also
learned
not to leave during the dinner hour to go out with the family (missed some
great
propagation on 20) and to get up earlier in the morning (40 was wide open
early
Sunday). Overall had a great time and will be even more serious in the next
one. Never came across VT, KS or AK to get RTTY WAS.
