Rick et al,
To set the 2nd Entry window to track the same radio as the first, simply click
on the frequency button to the left of the Entry window and use the pulldown
menu to set the COM port for the radio.
When you do this, the 2nd Entry Window will track visually but the first one
will not. Click the frequency button next the first Entry window and then click
OK, and now the first Entry window will visually track and the 2nd will not.
This is OK, because even though the frequency showing next to the 2nd Entry
window is not tracking visually, it is still tracking, even when you change
bands. If you log a QSO from the 2nd Entry window, it will be the correct
frequency even though it doesn't show on the frequency button.
This may be a little confusing but I know it works.

Subject: [WriteLog] One Radio-Two Windows
Hi Gang,
Need some help...
I am running a single radio (IC-765) with two RTTY receive windows, MMTTY and a
Hal P-38.
I have set for two radio operation so as to get the two receive windows and this
activates two QSO Entry windows.
One Entry window shows the correct radio frequency, the other does not see the
radio and displays the default 3500khz. If I use the receive window not
currently linked to the radio input (thus the inactive Entry window), the
contact will log but not on the correct band/freq.
How do I "link" the two Entry windows to each see an individual receive window
but still have both import the current radio frequency??
(At least this is better than being outside now at -2 degrees!)
Rick, W1TY
