It would be very nice to NOT type the callsign - I can run a station thru 8 bands (50-3456MHz) and having to retype the call for each contact, especially when working rovers that are in a rush to do the same with another station, is a pain - to say the least. A single function key or alt-q dedicated to this functionality seems the way to go. I presently don't use Writelog for my vhf+ contest logging so I haven't investigated this further.

When you enter the callsign, it will fill in the exchange for you on subsequent Qsos made on other bands - immediately after the first one, or not.

Hello from a newbie trying to get up to speed for the Jan VHF contest.

After completing a qso it is common to move to other bands with that station
in rapid fire fashion. My old logger had a feature to facilitate this called a
"quick qso" function; viz, ALT-Q. This would put the last qso's info into the
entry window so all one had to do was change the band and hit enter.

Is there anything similar in writelog? Having to retype the call and grid for
each band would slow such operations considerably (not to mention the
increased opportunity for errors).

Thanks
