Subject: [WriteLog] Sloppy keying
Dell Laptop, Windows ME, WriteLog 10.47E, parallel port keying, Yaesu
FT-920:
Everything works except that sometimes the keying gets "slurred."
Characters might stretch a little or just seem sloppy. Doesn't seem
to depend upon power output of the 920.
Use WriteLog 10.47E on my Dell WindowsXP (with UserPort) desktop with
no problem.
Have tried toroids on all the leads on the laptop, etc. to no avail.
Is this just a problem with laptops?
Any suggestions? Trying to get ready for Field Day!!!!
