>>It is not a contest so why do you treat it like one?
>Ah, but it IS a contest, and in the 49 years I've been a ham .... {drivvel
snipped}
And exactly what has all this got to do with Writelog - come on guys you are
not on 80m now !
Instructions ARE out there and DO work as several people have already
pointed out. If your execution of these instructions is incorrect it is not
a failing of Writelog. I am reading all the small print from the last few
days postings but finding it very difficult to spot a "thankyou" to K9JY or
other members of the team who have painstakingly put guides together. These
are linked from the Writelog homepage and are easily found (and then
bookmarked) using a Google search.
Please don't jump around shouting "the sky is falling", use some common
sense - these gentlemen also have fulltime jobs and are not on hand to
spoonfeed you for each and every contest !!
Before I climb off my bandwagon, while I don't class myself as a "big-gun" I
am a pretty good contester with several world #1's and both Asian/European
records with over 1 million Q's in the log so I feel as if I am qualified to
speak up for Writelog.
So PLEASE lets drop this blame culture and lets get on with the contesting.
Steve
