[WriteLog] Auto CQ intermittently keys without sending CW

Observed the following odd behavior during WAE CW. Auto CQ would
intermittently initiate CQ at the proper interval, but would only key PTT
(locking the rig in transmit indefinitely) without sending any CW. No RF
energy sent! Pushing ESCape followed by F1 (my autoCQ key) would get the
system going again. Has anyone else seen this symptom?

WriteLog 10.48, TopTen DX Doubler (both used for the first time this 'test)
Parallel port keying and PTT, A/B rig switching
Win98SE on a 90 MHz Pentium
