[WriteLog] Choppy CW; W/L v. 10.46 Win95

I finally got around to upgrading from v. 10.28.  Unfortunately, I  
experience choppy cw thru the lpt port on my win95 laptop.  I have gone  back 
to 10.28, 
but I would love to be able to use all of the contests supported  only by the 
newer version.  I've looked thru the archives and, although  I've seen some 
references to the problem, I cant seem to find a fix.  Is  there one?
