[WriteLog] Sound Board Mixer Control for Msg Play Level

When I bring up the Sound Board Mixer Control program, the box for Msg Play
Level is greyed out and can't be adjusted.

I'm told my recorded messages are slightly distorted and I want to reduce
the level, but I can't figure out how to get that box checked.
