There is a slight error in translation here.

Oms asked about having a third multiplier station and Bob's answer was correct.

But that is not what the discussion is about.

The question should have been "is it OK to have additional INACTIVE stations available for people to listen on and to activate when another active station becomes inactive."

I suspect the answer to this question would have been, "it is OK". This maintains the two transmitter rule because only two transmitters are ever transmitting at one time.

Hi Friends:

Before the contest I had the same doubt and I did send an e-mail to our
friend K3EST Bob.
I'm copying the question and answer:

Hi Young Brother!

You are correct! Two tx only. You can keep one log if you link the tx's.

I hope all is well as you prepare for the onslaught of Springr. It must be
FB Oms!

Hi Bob:

Could you please clarify a doubt regarding M/2 rules?
I understood accordingly the rules that only two transmitted signals
should be used at any time, and this text , combined with the obligation to
have two separate chronological logs ,does not permit the use of a 3rd
station as multiplier station. Am I right?
        Thanks in advance.

Best regards to the family

Oms PY5EG

So on the botoom line. I understand you should aply for M/M

Hello all,

I ran M/2 last weekend using WL 10.50 and TCPIP networking.

I ran four stations, but didn't violate the M/2 rules. When changing bands,

we went to a new station most of the time. The Cabrillo file lists
transmitter 0, 1, 2, and 3. This is the first time I had four stations set
up. In
previous contests, we used only two stations.

My question, will the folks at CQ correctly figure out that this is a M/2
entry and not M/M? Do I have to go in and edit the Cabrillo file to show
the
band changes?

Jerry,

I think that your question is more appropriate for the CQ-Contest reflector

than the WriteLog reflector. I don't view this as a WL issue. Perhaps you

should send your question directly to the CQWW contest committee.
