Writelog Serial Port Setup for JST 245
If any JRC JST245 owners out there need to make a serial lead for the
computer connection to a 9 pin serial port
this worked for me. I used Comm1 and left the speed at auto. Manual
states 4800 baud.
25 pin male (rig) 9 pin female (PC)
pin
1 ------------------------> cable screen goes to case
on 9 pin
2 ------------------------> 2
3 ------------------------> 3
4 ------------------------> 8
5 ------------------------> 7
6 ------------------------> 4
7 ------------------------> 5
8 ------------------------> 1
20 ------------------------> 6
There is no connection to other pins on 25 pin plug or to pin 9 of the 9
pin.
