No what you describe is not normal. The 756/746/7400 are picky about the
setting of transceive in the menu set up. Suggest that you try it OFF, which
cured inconsistency in my case.

Subject: [WriteLog] Frequency Window

I have a question. When using WriteLog, I select a mode and type in a
frequency in the frequency window, it immediately changes the frequency and
mode on
my radio. However, when I change the frequency on my radio, the WriteLog
frequency window remains unchanged. Is this one way frequency change
normal?

My setup: ICOM756ProII, microHAM Keyer, WriteLog 10.53c and PC Win98.

Cheers,
