Use something like this to coerce port numbers outside the 1-4 range for use
with rig control, DVK and CW sending (the Setup | Ports table of what's on
which port):
[Ports]
COM5:=9600,n,8,1
COM6:=9600,n,8,1
CommSlot4=6
CommSlot3=5
YMMV. I think the default port list for a packet TNC includes COM1-8 by
default, so you may not have to do anything to make that work. Just bring up
the Packet window and select your preferred port from the list that appears
in its File menu.
