Ok guys thanks for the help and suggestions.
I finally got it the way I want.
Evidently, depending on your version there is or there is not...a .ini section
dealing
with the shortcuts.
And my latest version does not.
But.
The step I was missing was to do a 'Save Configuration' after disabling the
keypad
shortcuts via the shortcuts menu.
