Fred,
Edit writelog.ini with a text editor (notepad). Change
COM 4 and COM 5 to COM 2 and COM 3 then remove the
CommSlot= lines from the Ports section of the file.
That should get you to the point that you can configure
normally once you have opened Writelog | Setup Ports
