I had the exact same problem with MMTTY when I installed a SIIG 8 port PCI
serial card.
Didn't have the problem when I used an older SIIG 4 port PCI serial card.
I was able to work around the problem by switching the MMTTY interface over
to COM1 which is the com port native to the mother board.
I wonder if you are using an aftermarket I/O board?
I suspect my problem is in the driver software with my new card.
Would be interested in seeing a post to the reflector if you find a fix.
I posted the problem to the MMTTY yahoo group but got no helpful response
and found no help on the SIIG web site.
