Bob,
Do you have the Keyer type set to Straight in the 7000 cw setup?
You have to be in CW mode then select Menu S-1, Then select Key, and get to the
Keyer SET menu from there, don't remember the rest, but its in the book.
To use computer keying you have to have the keyer type set to Straight in the
radio, it sounds like you have ELEC-Key set instead.
