Greg,

I also have a SCK II, and I was able to obtain a utility named
"LPT1INIT.EXE", and I placed this .EXE in the C:\ folder.

This allows me to go to a DOS prompt and type in: "LPT1init" and hit enter
which launches this program.

The net result is that the LPT port is reset so that you will not be stuck
with the LPT port in an undesired state.

I was seeing that the Red Record light would stay illuminated.

This utility works very well with LPT port issues.

Thanks,

Jim

I am also having a problem using an SCKII SO2R box. There seems to be a
problem with the state of pin 2 on the LPT line (abort pulse from ESC key).
It seems to stay in a high state when WL runs. This also disables (or seems
to) radio A/B switching. When I ran it with N1MM it works fine. It would
be great if this could be fixed since I just bought the WL update.
