You don't have to get used to anything you don?t want to get used to. I
do general purpose computing on XP and ham radio on WIN 2000NT
professional - the best OS MS ever made.
Like Jim, I threw Vista overboard. Windows 7 is built on the Vista
kernel - it sill suck as bad or worse - so just don?t buy it.

You don't want Vista. If Windows 7 is leaner and meaner than Windows
XP, then I might consider it. However, if it's bloatware like Vista,
then it can stay on the shelf.
I used Vista Ultimate 64 for about 5 months (August - December 2007)
then went back to XP. Vista got in the way of too many things I was
working on.

It sounds like we are going to have a new operating system to get used
to,
just when folks are getting used to Vista. I wonder how different the
new
Windows 7 is going to be? I haven't even bough Vista yet!
