Just wanted to inform all who responded to help me, that Erwin DK5EW, uploaded
a modification file to the FT-897 group
concerning amplifiers in general, and that solved my problem.
I am glad I delayed (dragged my feet) in ordering the Cat-Mate Y Splitter.
I also informed the FT897group of the satisfactory results.
