I've had this problem before (but only on 40 and 80 meters) and it was caused
by RF in the keyboard. Get a ferrite rod or toroid
and wind several turns from the keyboard cable around it OR
Get a wireless keyboard...

Subject: [WriteLog] Random CW Speed Changes
Hello everyone,
I'm having issues with the CW keyer speed changing randomly in Writelog. It
only seems to happen on 20 and 15 meters (not sure
about 10 with the current sunspot situation), so it very well may be an RF
issue. What's strange, is that it ALWAYS goes up to
46wpm. Never anything different.
I'm at work and dont remember which version of Writelog I'm using - it was the
latest within the last year.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
