Thanks, Joe! Got it figured out. Just used stand alone until I got it flying. 
Then went to WL with the MMTTy plugin.

Do not use MMTTY in stand alone mode with WriteLog.  Use the 
plug-in.  Without the plug-in, MMTTY and WriteLog will 
clash over the radio port and PTT port.
