I had a problem with MMTTY too. I had to go back to my reflector postings
last July to see what I did then to solve the problem. (I actually stumbled
across the solution myself, I think.)

I have it working now, though I don't know if I had to do all of this to get
it to work. My computer is using Windows 7/64.

I uninstalled the MMTTY plug-in with Control Panel, cleaned the registry,
reinstalled the MMTTY plug-in, this time using the legacy installer in the
Writelog program group (per the instructions on the web site), installed a
new MMTTY 1.68A in a new folder, copied that folder and files for my
subreceiver, edited writelog.ini to reflect the new folders, and restarted
WL. Both the main receiver's MMTTY and the subreceiver's MMTTY asked for
the new folder (even though I had edited writelog.ini, as I remember), and
both MMTTY instances worked.

Note that I am using new, separate installations of MMTTY that I don't use
for standalone use and never did. I set the COM port for the main receiver
and none for the second.

Bob,

Have you loaded the MMTTY-Writelog Plug-in (MMTTYPluginforWritelog_V13.Exe)?

Here is my experience with using MMTTY with Writelog. Today I loaded the
newest version 1.68A, The version worked, but when I ran MMTTY from
Writelog, MTTY stopped working crashed. When I reloaded an older version
(1.66G), everything worked fine again. I am not sure if the Plug in needs to
be re-written? Hence, I am staying with the older version of MMTTY.

Hi All

Well once agin I have problem running writelog with mmty. I have latest
version of
writelog...Latest version of mmty. MMTY byself works fine. When
writelog runs and I
load rtty window it says comm 4 not available. This is proper
comport......RTTY port screen is set properly.
Main writelog screen port setup does not have cw box
checked.....writelog.ini is set properly
to find mmty. It is in it's own directory tho I tried it from the default
directory no good there.
No other program running other than writelog itself.......that I know of.
Could this be mmty plug in problem?
I had this problem one other time darned if I know how I got it solved. If
I can solve problem I will
organize NAQP RTTY for my club. I did a complete uninstall of all old
writelog and mmty versions
rebooted installed new versions ran mmtyplugin.....Any sugestions guys ?
ANY help is appreciated. thanks 73 BoB WA1FCN
