As I set up WL to use with a Kwd rig and the winkey USB for CW I have the
following problem.
The only way I can get WL to control the Kwd is if I click the CW button on the
com 7 (kenwood radio) line.
This way, I have no CW, but total radio control. All the other radio settings
are correct. (8, N, 1, 4800b)
If I set up the winkeyer on com 9, (no radio) and click the cw button, then I
lose radio control!
My ancient version of WL had three checkable boxes, radio, cw, and dvk.-but
this new 10.76 ver does not have a
clickable radio button.
I have no problem controling the radio (com 7 )and the winkey (com 9) with my
logging pgm, and other contest pgms, but I'd prefer to use WL.
Even if I didn't want WL to send CW (but I do), the only way I can get it to
control the rig is to click that CW button on the radio line.
I must be doing something wrong.
Any ideas?
