I may not be able to help you with #1 because I use the DXTelnet interface with
WriteLog.  Open the Packet Spots window and see if you are getting spots in the
Packet Spots window.

#2. To get callsigns to highlight in Rttyrite, make sure you set the Super
Check Partial file.  For instructions on how to do that.  Go to the Tutorials
Page on rttycontesting.com and click on the link "Setting the DTA file for
Super Check Partial" or go directly via the link here:

http://rttycontesting.com/writelog/supercheckpartial/supercheckpartial_page1.htm

In one of the Rttyrite menus, you have the option to highlight callsigns after
a DE is received or not.  I use this feature because it allows callsigns that
are not in the Super Check Partial file to highlight as well as those that are
in the file.

#3. Use a %E at the end of all RTTY messages to end the transmission.  Also you
should include at least one space at the end of all your message before putting
the %E. If you don't put a space or two, noise characters will be appended to
the end of your message.  DON'T FORGET THE SPACE!

#4. I don't completely understand this question, but sample messages can be
found on rttycontesting.com from the home page by clicking the link in the link
bar named "RTTY Contest Messages".  Use the pull down menu on the RTTY Contest
Message page to select the contest you want.  I need to update these pages, but
you will get the idea of what you need to do.  If not, send me a personal note
and I'd be happy to help.

#5. WL has special functions for operating the K3 for SO2V.  Ed Muns (w0yk at
msn.com)probably is best to address this one.  Maybe if I could get Elecraft to
send me a K3 with a second sub-receiver, I'd be happy to document how to set up
WriteLog for it.  But I don't think I'll be that lucky.  Maybe one day I'll be
able to afford one.
