You are making this very hard, instead of easy.
Assuming your setting up for CQWW cw.
#1. edit writelog ini config. as follows.
under Configuration: add a line that says. CTCompatibleAccel=Yes
#2. Under Contest. Exchange format Setup.
Uncheck, Country Prompt
Uncheck, C Prompt.
#3 Under Setup.
CW/RTTY/SSB messages.
F11... your CQ
F2 ... your report
F3 ... TU
F4... your Call
F5.. %C
example. F11 test ve2lx
F2 5nn 5
F3 TU
F4 VE2LX
Save configuration.
Save contest.
Now when running...
F1 calls cq (someone answers and you type in call in entry window and
push space bar)
this puts you in Zone window.
You now push INS button (0) with number lock off. Easy to find without
looking.
This sends the call you typed in (F5) , your
report (F2),
The caller sends you the report, either you type it in or correct it if
automatically filled.
You now push the + key at end of keyboard on the num pad.
This sends TU (F3) plus F4 (your call) plus logs
the contact.
Your ready for next qso.
If your at high rate (like you said very busy, your ready to go, you
should not be out of the Entry Window.
If S & P mode, push F4 (sends your call), F2 sends your report. (space
bar to move to Zone ). Enter logs contact.
. This is simple, efficient, and I (not a great cw op) have had 200 +
hours .
