Figured it out. In the Setup/Ports window, Radio 2 COMM Port PTT was set to
'YES'. Setting it to 'NO' seems to have fixed the problem.

This has worked for years, and it is a feature I use all the time in all
contests. But last night the problem appeared when focus moves to Radio 2,
in this case the K3 sub-receiver which WriteLog puts into SPLIT mode.
I've having a mental block as to what could cause this since PTT initiation
works and the rest of the message parameters work fine, just not the final
%E and only with focus on Radio 2.
Any thoughts?
