It may be due to multiple sources of PTT ... what are you using for
PTT, what interface and what kind of SO2R switch (if any for RTTY)?

FSK or AFSK?

Happens when you switch between the two radios. I think it is just a bug
from the software still thinking it is transmitting the buffer, even though
the PTT has released and we are in receive.

I sometimes hit the escape key to stop transmission and that gets it back in
the receiving mode. Of course, it also kills the transmit buffer I was
sending for real.

Had a similar issue this weekend during cqww. I am running so2r with
2*ft950's - when I would interrupt a running message on say rig 1 - by
starting a message on rig 2; the message on rig 1 would continue but the
rig1 would stop tx. So mmtty is "stuck" in transmit until the buffer is
finished and therefore misses the first part of the other station's
transmission on that frequency.

I am 100% sure this was not happening before. I figure its some kind of
config issue but I follow the rttycontesting.com or uHam example settings
faithfully so I have no idea where to start.

Maybe I never noticed before (in recent times) because I wasn't really
fully doing SO2R operations. This contest was the first real SO2R in
several years as I was rebuilding and it was easier to go with single rig
contesting with all the changes around me.

Hope someone has a solution.

Help

I experienced an issue with timed CQ and trying to cancel using the
ESC key.
This is what happens. I can cancel the CQ shortly after initiating a
timed CQ using the ESC key. However, if I am doing a timed CQ for 2-3
minutes or so, I cannot cancel the CQ using the ESC key. The quick way
to stop the CQ is to toggle the focus to the other rig.

I have two rigs connected but I was not operating SO2R.

Issue with Bandmap has to do with what appears to be a WL slow
response with the bandmap update anytime I am tuning up/down the
bands. Is there any way to improve(reduce)bandmap update response
time?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Mike
