Don got me thinking, so I reopened the CQWPX file and started playing.
It appears that the only key you can (should) use for editing is the
BACKSPACE key. I could be wrong. What I was doing during the WPX to edit
Say I copied:
SN 1240 and it s/b
SN 1340 I was using the LEFT ARROW to backup to delete 2 and type 3.
It appears that WL or the WPX contest module does not like those keystrokes.
It appears you need to BACKSPACE the 0, 4, 2 and then type the correction
Any other ideas that I am missing?

Check to make sure you did not accidentally map the those keys in "keyboard
shortcuts". I actually did that and it drove me crazy figuring it out.
I did not have any issues editing anything in the entry window during CQ WPX
SSB using version 12.

Subject: [WriteLog] CQ WPX SSB Serial Number Editing?
I was experiencing trouble trying to edit the SN in the entry window,
not the log. When I attempted to edit a SN the backspace/delete did
not seem to work properly at removing digits. After entering a call
and pressing space I noticed that cursor would appear in the second
space on the underlined area for SN instead of the first blank space. I
do not know if this is the issue but it did not seem right.
Anybody else have this issue or am I doing something wrong.
New version of Writelog was in use.
