The time that you must set for alt-T with an external DVK is the interval from
the
start of one CQ to the start of the next CQ. It is not the listening interval
between
CQs. I typically set this to 9 or 10 seconds when using the DVR in a K3, 6 or 7
seconds for a short CQ message.
