Don,
UDP Broadcast is enabled
"Enable logged contact ADIF broadcast" is checked
IP Address 127.0.0.1, port 2333
As a matter of fact the ADIF string is moved from WSJT-X to UDP Listener.
The issue is between UDP Listener and WL.
Who knows the meaning of Error code “NG” in UDP Listener?
Thanks

Must enable UDP Broadcast in WSJT-X.
Go to WSJT-X Settings > Report tab screen.
Check "Enable logged contact ADIF broadcast" at the bottom of the screen. Make
sure IP address shows 127.0.0.1 and server port is 2333.

Hi all, I am still frozen with the issue that QSO logged in WSJT do not flow
into Writelog. Am I the only one in the World with such issue?
Anyone can help diagnose? Thanks in advance.
SW in use:
Writelog 12.35c unlimited registered version
Writelog UDP Listener
WSJT-X V2.0.0
Windows 10
I5-3470 CPU@3.2GHZ, 64 bit, 8G RAM
In windows task manager under “Applications - Details” I see WL and UDP
Listener well running:
-WriteL32.exe
-WriteLogUdpListener.exe
Writelog is started from the Writelog application icon in the WL folder (or
from the desktop link – no difference)
-UDP listener message when running WL and UDP Listener BOTH Normal or BOTH as
ADMIN:
Listening on UDP port 2333 this machine only
NG <ADIF>....
- When running Writelog as ADMIN and UDP Listener Normal the error message is
different:
Listening on UDP port 2333 this machine only
NG Writelog not running <ADIF>....
Thanks, 73

Oggetto: [WriteLog Support] #352-UDP listener not logging - pls help!
Make sure your reply appears above this line
You are running the unlimited version of WriteLog and not the demo version. Am
I correct?
The spelling and capitalization is not an issue for the UDP listener and
WriteLog.
In the Windows Task Manager application, its "Details" tab there must be
exactly one line that says "WriteL32.exe".
If you have a non-English version of Windows, I apologize that I do not know
how that Windows application will be labeled.
The UDP listener will not attach to the WriteL32.exe that you get if you start
WriteLog from its desktop "WriteLog Control Site" icon. WriteLog must be
started some other way for the UDP listener to find it.

Hi, be aware that mails to writelog@contesting.com are bounced back, please
help with UDP listener as below:
All set BUT WL does not log anything and UDP listener show the following
message:
- NG Writelog not running
Or sometimes the following:
- NG
N1MM Logger + Broadcasts section is enabled (127.0.0.1, port 2333)
The only strange thing I see is that UDP listener contest selection text is
"ARRL Rtty RoundUp" and this does not match with the Contest Type in Writelog
(12.35c) "ARRL RTTY Round Up". Please note difference in capital letters AND
the extra space in Round_Up.
Is this the issue? If yes, how to correct it?
Am I the only one not able to log from WSJT-X to WL?
Thanks
