Hi Folks,

WriteLog version 12.44 is a free upgrade for anyone who has purchased the full
version of WriteLog since Oct 2018.
If you are running an earlier version, go here to purchase a new registration
code: http://writelog.com/ordering

New in version 12.44 since 12.43:

* Enable RC-1101 knob to control per-radio AF gain.
* Update WW Digi module to not complain that an empty grid entry is “unknown”
* Support atomic strings inside CQ message.
* Add f-key message edit icon to File toolbar.
* California QSO Party update remove 6m and 2m and accept DX as QTH for
in-state.

Also of interest is that 12.44F is required to use the latest version of the
dual-cq run mode plug in, which is here:
https://github.com/w5xd/WriteLogRunMode

That latest plugin's new feature uses the 12.44F support for "atomic strings"
in a CW message that one radio is not allowed to interrupt on the other. This
fixes the issue where a transmission, for example: "TEST W5XD", gets truncated
to sound like W5XN or W5XT or W5XE.

For more information, read the help file in WriteLog.

12.44 upgrade installers are available here:
http://writelog.com/downloads/writelog-versions

Updating to 12.44 does not automatically update the necessary multiplier files.
You must also File/update-data-files in WriteLog to download them. For anyone
choosing to run WriteLog without upgrading, you still want to
File/update-data-files in WriteLog to get the multiplier updates.

Thanks,

Steve N9OH & Wayne W5XD
