I did the same a several times. Make sure to save the setup by creating
writelog.ini file. Just uninstall from the control panel - Programs and
Features, most likely Windows saved all WL settings. GL de Jon NN5T

I've not seen this before but if it were me, I would uninstall WriteLog and
re-install the last full version then upgrade to 12.46D.
I've uninstalled WL several times over the years for various reasons, mainly
during beta testing, and have had on issues re-installing. All the settings
seem to remain the same and you don't have to start over from scratch.

The problem is repeatable, even after a complete shut down and restart of
