[WriteLog] Packet "bad command" error messages

I'm running WriteLog 12.88D and Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

When I sign in to VE7CC-1 in WriteLog and enter a command like "sh/dx 20" or
"bye" I get a "bad command" error message.

If I sign in directly to VE7CC-1 not from within WriteLog "sh/dx 20" and
"bye" work fine with no error message. 

Any help will be appreciated.
