VR1012 is shown in the schematic as comming right off the wiper of
the front panel adjustment. The alignment procedure says to place the
radio on 20M CW and adjust VR1012 for 100 +- 5W while the front panel
power control is full clockwise.
BTW...this pot can be set to allow the radio to put out as much as
140 watts on some bands. Radio heats up quite fast. The amout of
actual DB change is minimul for a lot more heat being produced.
Recommend having access to a GOOD HF wattmeter if you intend playing
with this control, but it wouldn't hurt moving it down in power.
