Hello again Martin. The automatic antenna tuner in the FT-900 is
not in line when using the receiver. I really haven't seen a reason
why one would want it. The band-pass filter/ Collins filter
combination does the job. Yaesu says the tuner will only match up to
3:1. I have found that this tuner can be convinced it should correct
some mismatches up to 5:1. Have fun! Dave.
