I recently bought an FT757 in which the lithium battery is dead and has
never been replaced. Before I open up the rig I thought I might get the
benefit of suggestions from anyone who has replaced the battery or knows
about these things. Some questions that come to mind:
Is the cell a coin type, or some other form?
Is a holder used, or is it soldered directly to the board?
Are there any special reset procedures used after the new cell is
installed?
Any other suggestions or cautions will be appreciated.
