Recently acquired an FT 1000 with only 30 watts ouput at best. Looking
for ideas on where to start since i cant get through to Yaesu by phone
or email.
I have the service manual. The RF output from the RF board is about 1
volt rms into 50 ohm termination. Does anyone know if this is
appropiate drive for the PA. The rf pwr control and drive do reduce the
pwr to zero at ccw rotation. The IC current on the meter never gets
above 2 amps.
Any suggestions are welcome.
