I sent this to the list on Feb. 8th and did not get one response. So, I
thought I would send it again to see what happens this time.

Hello to all on the list,
                                          I have a 1000D serial number
3E300XXX. I feel it does not hear as well as it should. I also have a
FT-767 and the other night I had to use it to work ET3BT on 75 meters!
Beleave it or not I could copy him better on the 767. It might have just
been the tone difference in RX between the 2 rigs, but I would think the
1000 should beat the 767 hands down! Dose anybody know if there have been
modifications to the receiver section after my serial number? If so
should I send it back? I sent the 1000 to International Radio in 7/96 and
they said it was OK. Any ideas or valid comments?

         73, Bill KB3AUG

         Riverton, WV

         A hundred miles from

         anywhere that matters....
