Hello Jim, there is a ton of information about the FT-1000MP with some
related to the menu 9x area on the
http://www.jehosophat.com/1000mp/ reflector. 9-1 is the Reciever If Gain
setting and is covered in the FT-1000MP service manual. Mine was set at 13
from the factor, but may drop to 9-11 after the 70mhz mod is installed and
tested.
