Gentlemen, does anyone have an idea of how to adapt the FT-1000-D so
that it will announce the frequency audibly? Can any of the Kenwood
voice syn's be adapted to work with the 1000D? There are quite a few of
us visually impaired hams out here that would welcome the assistance of
a voice syn. for the FT-1000D. I contacted Yaesu's technical dept. and
they just sluffed it off. Not interested in helpimg. Should be a small
challenge for the many bright minded and able hams out there. Any
