Thanks for the replies chaps ....unfortunatly the "Hold the lock button"
ONLY applies to the FT1000 MP --- NOT the FT1000 unfortunatly . BUT it
would appear that there may be a solution to the problem.
It has been suggested by Kevin Hobbs that disconnecting the pulse o/p
from the sub VFO and driving both with the main VFO o/p works ok - a
simple c/o switch achieves the desired results. I am looking into if the
Sub VFO "Lock" button can perhaps change over a small 5v relay and
achieve this ..... more later !!
