I noticed with interest N5TJ's message about a raspy tx/rx signal on the
mp. My "raspiness" seems to be only on the speaker or external speaker -
it sounds great as usual when I listen on the Heil Proset phones.
The only thing I noticed is that sometimes the audio sounds fine on the
speaker for an hour of so before sounding distorted. Has anyone else had
this problem?
I have the INRAD If mod, and I had to add a capacitor for the audio mod
because the value in my mp was wrong! It's a recent serial number
purchased in September.
