The eham.net product review section has a lot of user input on the FT-100.
I want one, too, but I'm going to wait and see how the "D" model performs.

I have had trouble with the hf transmitter quitting and then I blew up the
reciever with too much RF from my other rig. I now have the D model and it
seems just fine. Rumor has it that tx and rx problems are not uncommen on
the earlier rigs. John
