[Yaesu] FT1000D

Hi Folks,

Got the DC to DC transformer from Yaesu Parts, for the Display board.
Installed the new transformer...the little pig whines like it's tail is
stuck in the barn door. The display lights-up but not very
bright...takes a few seconds to get up to brightness when first powered
up...

Open for suggestions,
