Hi folks, The other day I was listening on 40m and went through the usual adjustments of PBT and such and ran into a situation where the receiver howled which surprised the daylight out of me. No idea of just how I got into this situation although I remember it was an SSB signal passing through the 2.4KHz filter and I was using the notch to remove an adjacent strong signal. Is this to be expected? Laurier W1LSO |
