Hey y'all... I'm thinking about buying a second FT990...the one I'm looking at now has the v1.2 firmware (the one I have now is v1.3). I use TR for logging...is the upgrade to v1.3 "required"? What does it get me? Generally, what else should I consider in getting a 990? Any serial numbers to avoid, etc. Like I say, I've got one and it's fine - but I'm just an appliance operator! Thanks!
